Located on the south end between the rectory and playground, the Rosary Garden provides a place for peace and meditation. The garden is open to everyone during the day, and all are welcome to join us for various parish-wide rosaries throughout the year.
In 2012, to recognize his many years of service to our parish, planning began to honor Monsignor Duncan with the construction of a grotto that would further serve our spiritual needs. In conjunction with the paddle call from Parish Night Out 2012, our parish raised over $25,000 for this project. We are truly thankful for these generous funds. Our initial desire was to build a substantial Lourdes Grotto, but the early price estimates we received exponentially exceeded our budget. New planning started in early 2014.
Later that year, rendering for a Marian Rosary Garden were released. This garden contained a pathway with stones marking each decade bead and pillars noting each mystery between each 10. In 2016, the statue depicting Our Lady of Mt. Carmel arrived from Spain (pictured above). This beautiful statue was placed in a sitting area towards the north-side of the garden. The garden was dedicated on July 18.
