The March for Life is an annual demonstration that takes place in Washington, D.C. on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand. Pro-Life supporters from around the country gather in our nation's capital for lively rally followed by a march through the streets of Washington as a sign of solidarity to our nation's leaders supporting the effort to make abortion illegal in this country. OLMC high school students annually make the trip to support this important demonstration. For more information, click here.
All are welcome to come and pray at the Tomb of the Unborn Child on the church property. Finished in April of 2005, this space houses the remains of an aborted child. We encourage all to use this space to pray for an end to abortion and for healing for those who are suffering from the effects of abortion in their own lives.
LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing for our hour praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the Church supports the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception. Participants in the LIFE CHAIN hold signs with messages like "Abortion Kills Children," "Adoption The Loving Option," "Abortion Hurts Women," and "Jesus Forgives & Heals." Over 1,000 LIFE CHAINs are held in the USA on the first Sunday in October.
