The Housewares Ministry was developed to serve those who have a lack of household items such as bedding and bath, kitchen essentials, dinnerware/glasses, small appliances, and cleaning implements. We help people who cannot afford to purchase these items as well as those who have lost their home with no place to store belongings, fire victims and more. The Housewares Ministry provided used housewares to over 650 people in 2010.
To receive assistance you must provide proof of residency (for Hamilton County), which means a photo ID AND one of the following: electric, gas, water, or cable bill.

Merciful HELP Center’s furniture ministry delivers and picks up furniture about four times per week. In 2009, 427 pieces of furniture were picked up and delivered to families in need, in 2010 that number increased to 705.
We have a waiting list for many items, and we accept donations of: beds (twin, full and queen), couches, love seats, washers and dryers, refrigerators, stoves, kitchen table and chairs, coffee and end tables, and dressers.
We cannot accept sleeper sofas, entertainment centers, televisions, drop side cribs, bookcases or office furniture.
