GriefShare & Create and Heal Miscarriage and Infant Loss

This is a ministry to the bereaved so that those who grieve a loss through death may experience the healing comfort of God through their faith community. Grief Share meets on Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 PM in the St. Dominic Room. This group is open at ALL times to newcomers. Registration begins at 6:45 PM for newcomers! Everyone that comes to us is at various stages of grief. Don't let any time frame stop you from coming! Just COME!

Create and Heal is a grass roots ministry oriented toward women and/or men who have experienced the loss of miscarriage, infant loss, or stillbirth.
This support group is led by an art therapist, Amy Stutey.

Come to a 4-week art therapy group to create a memory book. 
We will meet in the St. Paul Room of the Parish Life Center at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel, IN 46032.

The scrapbook and some supplies will be provided. 
Particpants will take turns bringing their favorite baked good to share.

The dates for the Spring 2024 are:
March 4, 2024 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
March 11, 2024 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
March 18 2024 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
March 25, 2024 6:30 to 8:00 PM

Experts estimate one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage. however, prevalence doesn't reduce the grief people experience. Our Catholic faith gives us the benefit of saints who intercede in the midst of suffering and pain.
